Have you ever been interested in how Non-woven mill rolls are able to perform so well in squeegee and wringer roll applications?
1 The porous cover absorbs part of the fluid reducing the hydraulic pressure.
2 When the cover compresses at the contact area it seals the fluid flow.
By controlling the pressure “P” it is possible to control the quantity of fluid which remains on the sheet.
3 The porous surface absorbs the fluid as a sponge when the pressuredecreases.
4 When the covers are compressed again they give off the absorbed fluid.
