DEOXIDIZING COPPER STRIP WITH NON-WOVEN ABRASIVE FLAP BRUSHES
Non-woven abrasive brushes can be used in the manufacturing of copper strip to improve the quality of the final product. Copper strip is typically produced by a continuous casting process, which can leave surface defects such as cracks, pits, and roughness. Non-woven abrasive brushes can be used to remove these defects and improve the surface finish of the strip.
The specific process for using non-woven abrasive brushes in copper strip manufacturing may vary depending on the equipment and materials being used, but generally involves the following steps:
- Preparation: The copper strip is cleaned to remove any dirt, oil, or other contaminants that may interfere with the abrasive brushing process.
- Brushing: The non-woven abrasive brushes are mounted on a rotating spindle or other equipment and brought into contact with the surface of the copper strip. The brushes are typically made of a synthetic material such as nylon, and are coated with abrasive particles such as aluminum oxide or silicon carbide.
- Control: The speed, pressure, and other parameters of the brushing process are carefully controlled to ensure that the desired level of surface roughness and defect removal is achieved.
- Inspection: The finished copper strip is inspected to ensure that it meets the required surface finish and quality standards.
By using non-woven abrasive brushes in the manufacturing of copper strip, the surface quality of the final product can be improved, reducing the need for additional processing or finishing steps. This can result in cost savings, improved efficiency, and a higher quality product for the end user.
